Over the years I've produced many booklets and promotional brochures for direct mail and in-person distribution. My favorites make use of interesting folds, paper textures, or printing techniques in order to enhance the message of the piece or to make it stand out as an object of interest.
A specific benefit of the WFIC conference is the in-person networking for market data professionals across the globe – available only at this event. Because of this, photos from previous conferences provide a big selling point. In this piece, a creative fold maximizes space for photos, and also promotes the architecture of Barcelona, the event location.

Replicating a passport, the paper texture mimicked leather and employed a foil stamp of the event logo. Brochures were mailed along with a customized "boarding pass."
NetGain
The event featured a bus tour to in-person demos of emerging technologies. The inside included a “ticket” using variable data, customized to the recipient.
Content VIA Platorms
This direct mail piece used circle die cuts, mimicking the logo/design, in order to generate curiosity and interest about the event’s featured speakers.
Collected correspondence of a father to his daughter, illustrated with family photos and ephemera from the period, with notations added of relevant family and historical information. Created for distribution at a family reunion.

An booklet explaining the Awards program in detail, designed for first-time nominees. Includes the award's history, testimonials, reasons to nominate, step-by-step instructions on the process, the category list, and a pricing/timeline table.
SIIA's Marketing in Today's Economy
Tech company Chief Marketing Officers responded to a set of questions to create a collection of thought leadership essays in a booklet that was distributed to trade association members.
