Designer by day, Needlework Ninja by night. Being a designer, collaborating with groups of people on projects for a varied audience can be fantastic! However, working quickly within tight deadlines and with outside influences on projects whose final product is often transient and temporary has led me to seek an artistic outlet that allows me to slow down, use more of my senses, enjoy the solitude, and produce a small, tangible, personal object. Needle and fiber provide a tactile joy – and also the slowest manner of drawing imaginable.
